  • Movie in the Park - 8/1 at Chevron Park. This year’s movie is Zootopia 2.

  • Summer Skate - 8/8 at Rec Park Inline Skating Rink. A brand new outdoor skating event for all ages from the El Segundo Kiwanis Club. Tickets are on sale now.

  • Family Campout - 8/15-8/16 at Rec Park. Wristbands are now on sale.

  • El Segundo Art Walk - 8/22.

  • Bonsai Bar - 9/20 at Sugar Monkey. This insanely popular event sells out before we ever have a chance to promote it, so we’re promoting it two months early this time!

  • Upcoming Old Town Music Hall movies and events - Saturdays and Sundays. Many of these, especially popular movies, will sell out.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
