77 Events & Deals in Town This Week

Plus: MLK Day camps for kids + fire relief volunteer opportunities

Hello, Gundo 👋

In this week’s newsletter we have dozens of brand new events, including four on Saturday that make El Segundo seem like the most highbrow town in America (and rightfully so).

We also have info on several South Bay camps that are open on Monday while kids are out of school for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

And, of course, as the fires all over our city are still affecting so many, we have volunteer and donation opportunities in town where you can help the victims.

Here’s what’s happening around the neighborhood this week.

— Sam & Angie Greenspan

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo proponents ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.

This is our second issue and so far, we’ve been thrilled to see so many of you are as excited for this newsletter as we are.
