91 Events & Deals in Town This Week

Plus: DineLA restaurant week comes to El Segundo on Friday

Hello, Gundo 👋

In this week’s newsletter you’ll find the DineLA restaurant specials coming to El Segundo, fire relief fundraisers and donation events in town this weekend, and opportunities to paint your pet and/or your partner.

Also, on Saturday night, El Segundo is simultaneously the site of: A Henrik Ibsen play by a professional theater company, a wildfire relief fundraiser at a brewery, a screening of a 1950s Kirk Douglas satire, public ice skating at the L.A. Kings’ training center, and a punk rock album release party.

And that sentence is why we started this newsletter.

Here’s what’s happening around the neighborhood this week.

— Sam & Angie Greenspan

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.

This is our third issue. Please spread the word!
