Hello, Gundo 👋 

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you all have a great holiday and thanks for taking a few minutes to read this before dinner.

There are definitely fewer local events this week than normal due to the holiday — but there are also plenty of Black Friday and Small Business Saturday specials happening in every corner of El Segundo. We’ve collected many of the ones we could find but we’re sure there are others out there!

As always, if and when new events pop up or any details change, we’ll share them on the Hello Gundo Instagram.

There’s a new ceramic shop coming to town
Standard Ceramics is a membership-based Cone 10 studio welcoming potters of all skill levels. They’re set to open in Smoky Hollow on Jan 2.

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
