Halloween season is in full effect this week in El Segundo. (And based on what we’re seeing, it’s going to ramp up even more next week.)

If you’re so inclined, you can spend pretty much every day of these next 2+ weeks doing Halloween stuff — all without ever driving more than about 0.8 miles.

There’s a new medspa in town
Coastline Aesthetics and Wellness just opened at 431 E. Grand, Suite A. They offer a variety of products and services such as chemical peels, microneedling, wrinkle relaxers, and a whole lot more.

International Garden Center’s haunted houses are open
There’s one for little kids and one for bigger kids. Both are free and fun to do while you’re pumpkin shopping.

La Paz is raising money after the car crashed through their restaurant
La Paz has been shut down for three weeks after the accident. They have a GoFundMe running to help support their staff and families.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
