This year, as it does every year, El Segundo is putting on its game face for Halloween. There are events all weekend long — including some indoors, if this rain in the forecast really does arrive.

Big Mike’s has closed its doors
We’re sad to say Big Mike’s is the latest restaurant to say goodbye. It closed the doors on its longtime Main St. shop last week.

Waymo is officially coming to El Segundo
According to a the official City of El Segundo Instagram, Waymo will be bringing its self-driving cars to the South Bay next week. Of course, this begs the question: Will a robot also cancel your LAX ride if it finds out you only want to go to El Segundo?

Spread, Please! will operate out of a food truck until its permanent spot opens
