It’s somehow gonna be May tomorrow. And with that, we’ve got a whole host of summer’s-basically-here events to share with you.

Topgolf is selling $229 summer passes. The hours are a bit off-peak, but you get 2 hours per day for up to 6 people from April 28th through September 7th with a food discount.
The South Bay Lakers are no more
We’re so used to sports teams moving into El Segundo that I don’t know how to handle one leaving. The Lakers just announced they’re moving their developmental squad out of our town and to (a much, much larger arena in) Coachella Valley. I swear, Justin Bieber does one acoustic set and the next thing you know.

Who are you and why are you doing this?
We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.
We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.
Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
