It's Main Street Fair Weekend in El Segundo

Hello, Gundo 👋 

After a few slower weeks, we’re back to wall-to-wall activities in El Segundo — especially this weekend.

The Main Street Fair is always an annual highlight but there are tons of other things to do all over town (and from early in the morning to late at night) every day.

As always, if and when new events pop up or any details change, we’ll share them on the Hello Gundo Instagram.

YLS Bakery & Cafe is open!
It’s not just a sign anymore… YLS Bakery & Cafe opened yesterday in the spot where The Donut used to be on Main. They’re open from 4 AM-12 PM and have bagels, donuts, pastries, and coffee.

South Bay Lakers tickets are now on sale
The new season for the South Bay Lakers begins November 8th. Tickets just went on sale. Last season, many of the games sold out so you may want to hop on this early.

Need a place to send your kids next Tuesday?
ESUSD is off on September 23rd for Rosh Hashanah. If you don’t celebrate and need a place for your child to go, check out these options from Champ Camp and Code Ninjas.

Want to do the Thriller dance at the Halloween Frolic?

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
