It’s a big weekend in town with the Ed! Gala on Friday and Mother’s Day weekend events galore on Saturday and Sunday.

The Bar: Handrolls by Seabutter is coming to Plaza El Segundo sometime soon. (Their website says Spring 2025 and we’re well into Spring 2025.) 

Cookie Zombie returns from the dead like… well… like a zombie
Beloved local cookie delivery service Cookie Zombie, which closed 326 weeks ago according to their Instagram farewell (that’s February 2019), is making a miraculous comeback. According to their Instagram stories, their relaunch is happening any day now.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
