It’s another packed week of events here in El Segundo, with lots of unique, new things happening — from a new manga club to building your own Chia pet.

Spread, Please! is now open 7 days a week
El Segundo’s viral burger pop-up has become so popular it’s now open 7 days a week. It runs from 4 PM to 10 PM nightly inside Big Mike’s.

Repairs have begun at Rec Park
A four-month repair project at Rec Park kicked off earlier this week. It’s focusing on fixing walls, stairs, and more.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
