The second summer concert in the park is here, and The Point is continuing its new summer concert series as well. And that’s just the beginning.

Planning Commission Meeting [Data Center Public Hearing]

During tonight’s Planning Commission Meeting will be a public hearing to consider the approval of a new data center in El Segundo. If you have an opinion on the project — and from what I’m seeing in the Facebook groups, many people do — you can share it in person at the meeting (email comments were due by noon today).

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
