Hello, Gundo 👋 

If you’re actually in El Segundo right now and not squeezing out these last few weeks of summer vacation, good news: As always, there’s a whole lot for you to do.

The second-to-last concert in the park is this Sunday… and weekly summer events like the Dockweiler movies and concerts at The Point are also nearing their ends. So take advantage of the endless free entertainment while you can!

As always, if and when new events pop up or any details change, we’ll share them on the Hello Gundo Instagram.

New in El Segundo: Live Your Best Life Center
There’s a new holistic health center in town in the former ESMoA spot. The Live Your Best Life Center features yoga classes, meditation, sound baths, and more. There are free classes this month (check out the one on Tuesday earlier in this newsletter).

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
