Ghost Sando Shop is coming
A new sandwich shop is opening in Chargers Commons in the spot where Capriotti’s used to be. They have a few other locations around L.A. and their sandwiches look good. And, as they put it, girthy.
The El Segundo Art Walk is looking for artists and venues
This year’s annual Art Walk is Saturday, August 23rd. If you’re interested in being a contributing artist, venue, or sponsor, check out their website to apply by July 18th.
Erewhon has opened in Manhattan Beach
Though this isn’t in El Segundo because it’s on the other side of Rosecrans, the famed L.A. grocery store just opened in the South Bay.

Who are you and why are you doing this?
We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.
We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.
Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
