This is THE big holiday weekend in El Segundo
The holiday parade, Winter Wonderland, Candy Cane Lane opens — and so much more
Hello, Gundo 👋
It’s time for the main event of the holiday season.
The biggest holiday events of the year all happen this weekend: Winter Wonderland on Saturday afternoon, Candy Cane Lane opens Saturday evening, and the Holiday Parade on Sunday afternoon.
Plus there are a ton more largely (but not exclusively) holiday-themed events everywhere you look these next seven days.
As always, if and when new events pop up or any details change, we’ll share them on the Hello Gundo Instagram.

There are a few changes coming to Candy Cane Lane
El Segundo’s Candy Cane Lane has evolved from a small neighborhood tradition to a massive event. While it’s still keeping much of the same spirit, there are a few changes this year (mostly around food sales and louder calls for people to make less of a mess). You can read about them in the city’s press release.
We say goodbye to Two Guns
After more than eight years, Two Guns just announced they’re closing their Main Street El Segundo location. Their final day is this Sunday, December 14th. If you still want some Two Guns, their Manhattan Beach location isn’t going anywhere.

Santa’s rides around town are coming to an end
Santa is still riding on Thu, Dec 11; Mon, Dec 15; and Wed, Dec 17 (if there needs to be a makeup day). Check the link to see the maps of where he’ll be.
Want even more time with Santa?

Letters to Santa are available at the library - Write your list and drop it in the mailbox located in the youth area now through 12/13.
