Last week was slow due to Thanksgiving. Seems like everyone saved up their energy.

Because there is so much happening this weekend (and week)!

If you want holiday events, you’ll find them everywhere you look. If you want non-holiday-themed events, there are plenty of those too.

It was such a busy week we haven’t even mentioned yet that El Segundo was featured on Jeopardy!

Santa’s begins his tour around El Segundo on Monday!
The El Segundo Police Officers’ Association and Kiwanis Club will be escorting Santa on his annual citywide tour. Check out that link for the nightly maps to find out where and when to see Santa on his tour.

El Segundo made it on Jeopardy
And coincidentally, the contestant who correctly answered “What is El Segundo?” is a client of Hello Gundo’s very own Angie Greenspan.

Snow Showers at The Point begin on Saturday
Snow flurries take place every 30 minutes from 6-8 PM every Saturday in December.

Who are you and why are you doing this?

We’re Sam and Angie Greenspan, El Segundo residents and since 2016 and major El Segundo boosters ever since.

We also believed we were the right people to give this town its first newsletter.

Angie’s a realtor who works here in town and all over L.A. — so she’s plugged in to everything happening and has been a de facto source for local event info for years. Sam’s a writer and works in email marketing.
